Building something real
That’s our style
Camp is a magical place. That’s not news.
But sometimes we wonder... Is the magic of camp being overshadowed by peer pressure, competition, and outer trappings that are just not the real thing?
Camp should be about enchanting memories that carry us throughout the year. Friendships built with truth, smiles free of the unspoken rules, talents shining bright - sans competition, and most of all, inspiration to grow to be the best you.
It should be the place where you can be the real you.
In our experience teaching and working with hundreds of wonderful girls, we have seen it over and over: girls want to have incredible fun, true friendships, and real connection – together.
At Camp Levavi we are committed to giving them all they need to achieve all that and more. So, we set out to recapture camp – the way it’s meant to be.
Join us as we build something real.

Rabbi Yehuda Orlansky - Camp Rav
Rabbi Yehuda Orlansky is an alumni of Yeshiva Bais Moshe of Scranton, Yeshiva of Philadelphia, Yeshivas Mir Yerushalayim, and Bais Medrash Govoha of Lakewood. Rabbi Orlansky received certification from the Va’ad Chizuk, under the direction of Rav Eli Wolbe, focusing on Kiruv Krovim. While living in Eretz Yisroel for many years, Rabbi Orlansky was a Rebbi in Yeshivas "Aderes Hatorah” (aka Senter’s Yeshiva).
Currently, Rabbi Orlansky is a Menahel in Yeshiva Nishmas Hatorah of Inwood, the director of "Kinyan Hamasechta" and an interim Rabbi in the JCCI shul. The combination of years of experience in multiple camps, working in Chinuch and directing a torah organization will be a tremendous inspiration and benefit to our campers which will contribute in giving over our campers the right Chinuch and Hashkafa we all aspire to.
Mrs. Aliza Yurman works in TAG high school of Far Rockaway. While working in high school she also ran the TAG day camp for numerous years. Her years of experience in working with high school students and directing a camp has given her a deeper understanding of the need of girls in this generation - a place where girls can be simple and real. With that understanding, a vision was created. Recognizing the power of sleepaway camp and the growing needs of the community, she hopes to create an environment where girls can be simple, wholesome and growth oriented.
Mrs. Aliza Schwadel has been in Chinuch Habonos for over a decade. In her 14 years of teaching she has taught her subjects with warmth, love and in a way that allows all students to excel. Throughout her teaching career she also runs G.O. In Machon Sara High School along with their school play. She has a tremendous amount of creativity and always manages to bring simcha into the halls of Machon Sara High School. Aliza spends her school year teaching and advising her students; she spends her summers enjoying camp! Over the past several summers she has worked as program director and head counselor. Her vast experience and creativity will be an asset to Camp Levavi. Her warmth, love and deep understanding of teenage girls will surely enhance every camper’s experience!
